Bypass pruning shears are essential tools for any gardener or landscaper. They are called bypass shears because they have two blades that work like scissors, one sharp and curved, the other flat, and they bypass each other as they close. This design allows for a clean and precise cut on small stems and branches which makes these tools an ideal option for trimming and shaping trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as for harvesting fruits and vegetables. We have designed and developed our RH-3108 model with these use cases in mind and therefore, have equipped it with stainless steel blades and all-steel body construction.
